Len Cnut
Whats disturbing about this is apart from Ice T i can remember listening to these tracks when the oldest ones came out Shouldn't you be going a little further back for classic like Kane, Rakim, Slick Rick? I guess age ain't the only thing that makes something classic. Nuttin But A G Thang is classic now, wow, i had the fuckin' tape of The Chronic

Especially in the rap genre. You'd be hard pressed to find a rap fan who didn't consider the big hits from the early 90s west coast era to be classics. How about Eminem's first few hits? They only came out 15 years ago. Most rap fans would consider them classics too. inb4cobblers
Len Cnut
Whatcha mean 'cobblers', i was agreeing with you sir I guess age ain't the only thing that makes something classic.See? Agreement. On topic:James Browns entire output would fit the bill, no? Kinda the basis of hip hop I remember reading Funky Drummer was sampled like 500 plus times in hip hop. Jakey Styley
I been hearing a lot about this Bobby Shmurda, who is he, whats his story? It's really just this one song, which is sick. It also has an accompanying dance (the shmurda dance) so it got popular in vines and all that stupid shit. His style is basically the same as the Chicago drill movement except over philly/new york type beats. He's like a new Chief Keef except it's generally agreed upon that he won't have another hit (though, same thing was said about Keef)
