ludurigan
It's better than at least 80% of the tracks on the Illusion records.Does anyone know why it didn't make the final cut?

DieselDaisy
Odd decision. They used to occasional play it live in the club days
Riddick Bowe
Never liked it. But Dead Flowers should definitely been on Spaghetti, one of their best covers

EvH
It sucks. Crash Diet was miles better, and even it was a pretty average song.
TeeJay410
I've always thought it was awesome. Kicks the shit out of shotgun blues, get in the ring, and my world. I think it's better than the garden as well. Oh well.
DieselDaisy
I really like it but then, I liked everything about that band from the 1980s.
Street Of The Blues
I like the energy of it on that early club recording but it took a couple bad turns like changing the lyrics and overall approach. Also sounds too similar to back off bitch as if they scrapped some of the lyrics and tried to make it something distinguishable.
bacardimayne
Better than half of UYI 2, but so are the sounds that come out of my ass after a nasty round of spoiled guacamole and chips.
Trin9498
Always been a huge fan of this song. It sounds like classic GnR
liers
Supposedly Axl was working on Ain't Going Down even into the late 90's when the new band formed.
RandallFlagg
Crash Diet would've sounded amazing with UYI production.I also read Slash didn't do the solo on it.

Don't know precisely who play bass, and the percussion track is obviously a drum machine.
Lies They Tell
It's a good song if you enjoy a repetitive chorus I guess.

It sounds like classic GnRpretty much my sentimentsWould be a great deep cut from the UYI's but needed a little more lyrical workalso here's the AFD era demo version without lyricshttps://soundcloud.com/mr-street-of-dreams-3/guns-n-roses-aint-goin-downCrash Diet would've sounded amazing with UYI production.I also read Slash didn't do the solo on it.He doesn't even play on it.West Arkeen plays guitar on that oneAxl later sold the song to another bandthis is the (mislabelled as a CD song) released version by that other band Edited September 19, 2014 by Motivation
guzzy
Its a shitty filler song. Thats why it didnt make it. Crash Diet is way way better. Even good for CD2.
RandallFlagg
Yeah I am sure I heard another band sing Crash Diet on youtube, sounded pretty painful, Axl sounds raw as heck but hits some good heights.

ludurigan
that pinball machine version is weird, kinda "mechanic", but pretty cool anyway.
WFA
i've got my phone on shuffle and this came on. it's a great song, would have been much better on UYI 2 than so fine or shotgun blues.
Sixes
Asphalt Ballet released Crash Diet on their album Pigs. Some of the Asphalt Ballet guys co-wrote the song with Axl and Arkeen but Axl objected them releasing it. Don't remember the details and if Axl sued them or not.
