Nikki Sixx is that good he gets listed twice?

Nikki Sixx gets listed twice, once for stuff he does on his own (motley crue) and the stuff he writes with james michael and dj ashba. number 8 is neil young, angus and malcom are terrible

and yah, no paul. his solo stuff is laughable and the beatles are atrocious.

Any list that does not include Chuck Berry is a fail imo. His songs influenced ALL that followed him. No John Lennon without Chuck. No Rolling Stones without Chuck. He is the most deserving, yet under appreciated songwriter in rock history. His use of description words is unparrelled. "Coffee colored Cadalliac" etc. Can't fuck with Chuck...

1. Lennon/McCartney

2. Bob Dylan

3. Neil Young

4. Roger Waters

5. Leonard Cohen

6. Brian Wilson

7. Jagger/Richards

8. Pete Townsend

9. Ray Davies

10. Bruce Springsteen

Best list so far. We could argue over the order, but all the essentials are in there for me. The only one I might change is Townsend, but I can't think of who I'd change him into.

There are so many though... fuck. And that isn't greatest, those are my favorites. And even that isn't definitive
