Top 10 Elvis Presley songs

I've been listening to my Elvis records a lot lately, and I can say 100% without a doubt he is the greatest thing to ever happen to rock n' roll. Are there any other Elvis fans here? What are your top 10 songs by the King?

My list will probably change tomorrow because there's just so much great stuff from him, but for now mine is:

1. In The Ghetto

2. Suspicious Minds

3. Jailhouse Rock

4. King Creole

5. Heartbreak Hotel

6. Memories

7. Crying In The Chapel

8. Burning Love

9. Marie's The Name (His Latest Flame)

10. Are You Lonesome Tonight

My favourite Elvis ballad is probably, 'It Hurts Me' from the mid-60s 'lost album'. It later turned up on the '68 Comeback, during the Guitar Man musical sequence. I like a lot of those '50s ballads also, 'I Was the One', 'Don't', 'Loving You'. One of my favourite Presley clips incidentally, from Loving You:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the Guitar man sequence can go fuck it's self in the dickhole with a hot wire coat hanger. It's like "here, The King's back and he's decked out in leathers with Scotty and the boys too after making shitty movies for the better part of a decade. Oh, about those shitty movies, uh mind if we slot in something of that vain for a good 30 minutes of your time? We know you'd rather watch an 10 or so more awesome songs of Elvis rocking out and keeping it raw, but this is better, mind!"

Ehh, ''Scotty and the boys''' (I assume you mean Black and Fontana) did not play on the ''Guitar Man'', neither the original 1967 recording nor the medley recorded for the 1968 Comeback. The medley was prerecorded in a studio with a band consisting of Hal Baine (pianist), Don Randi (guitars), Tedesco (bass) - alongside - an orchestra and The Blossoms (backing vocals). Scotty, Bill and DJ played the unplugged sets.
