CheapJon
If there's any live video of Walk that should be posted it's this from Chile 1998. You can barely hear Anselmo's vocals. Best metal band IMO, don't like anything pre-cowboys though.
Rdeyahlxp
For me their albums went better with each release with the exception of Reinventing the Steel which was just a tad weaker than The Great Southern Trendkill, still a great effort tho. Hope Vinnie and Phil will kiss up at the 10 year anniversary of Dimebag's death. Don't expect them to play together again, just don't blame Phil for Dime's death and give the fans closure. Tight as and the band just groove so tight.
Lithium
I listened to them a lot in my teens, now I only listen to them when I'm at the gym. Same goes for Metallica and all other metal really. Edited October 4, 2014 by Lithium

Len Cnut
I think there's something a bit lame per se, these people that just NEED music to workout. You either wanna do it or you don't and if you wanna do it you'll do it regardless, why this really gay ass bro-ccentric self hyping i dunno. DR DOOM
I really liked them when I was around 15 or so, one of the few bands I liked at one point and don't anymore/grew out of- I'd had my fill by the time Great Southern Trendkill came out.I don't own any of their albums anymore, but they were on of the few bands that did a very good job of covering Sabbath and come to think of it Far Beyond Driven is a fucking good album.A real shame how Dimebag got murdered.
Johnny Drama
They also had a great cover of Electric Funeral.

And all this shit, he'd be fishing the bar out of his fuckin' arse if that was me.

DieselDaisy
I used to like bands like this when I was fifteen and had zits. I do like them because, unlike most metal acts, they had a bit of groove. Walk is a riff you can dance to. There is a groove there.
RandallFlagg
They have a great Planet Caravan cover too.Pantera were one of the great metal acts, Darrell was a hell of a guitarist, he definitely transcends the mere 'metal redneck' box folk like to throw out. Southern Trendkill is actually my fave Pantera record, the aggression in that album is ridiculous and Anselmo recorded his vocals far away from the same studio as the other if I remember correct. Down fronted by Phil and with Rex in for a while are a great band too, a lot more Zeppelin than the Pantera stuff but some superb songs. Rovim
Dime was so amazing. So much emotion, melody, heavy without losing direction, variety, groove, and had the tone too. His riffs and solos were full of excitement. You don't have to like metal to recognize he was truly great. What a loss. Oh and I still like Pantera.
