ZoSoRose
Yeah, nothing beats an amp and guitar. No digital effect can replace analog imo. But for bedroom demos I wouldn't mind the easy way out!I'm using Reaper right now. One day I'll get Logic, Protools, or something else
Klay
On my demos on the other topic, Deception was all recorded using amp simulation software Amplitube and Always Unchanged was recording micing my real Marshall amps. The difference in sound quality is pretty noticeable. You can mic an amp in your beedroom in low volume without much trouble, that's how I did it.
AdriftatSea
I was bored tonight and wrote a little blues tune. I only spent like 30 minutes recording it because my neighbors would be pissed. Lots of mistakes, my voice is terrible, yadda yadda but what do you guys think? Any potential? At least you get to hear my new Les Paul!https://soundcloud.com/alexstevens404/the-parking-lotThis is incredibly good!

Chewbacca
Blues curls, like a very specific type of bending that appears heavily on blues.

Chewbacca
The blues curls aka microtonal bends or quarter note bends are those fast bends used to give more emphasis on a note during a faster portion of a solo. By the beginning, you can see him doing full bends on a slower pace, but as he speed things up, you can hear the small curls in there.
