IncitingChaos
I love the live era Rocket Queen! Sounds great.Idk what Axl likes to think he sounds like but I wish he had left his vocals alone on the album. My other complaint is the 4 minute November Rain intro on the album. But that's for another topic

smoking guns
Slash in intro.Axl original vocals until the outro.I think the outro is some of his best recorded vocals ever.Killer version...
Mendez
I always thought this version sucked empty because the lack of rhythm guitar and that organ added in the outro.Slash in intro.Axl original vocals until the outro.I think the outro is some of his best recorded vocals ever.Killer version...The whole song is rerecorded vocally except for the "ow!" screech he does after the choruses

WhazUp
I love the talkbox solo, it is a shame we don't have any funky rhythm guitars to help give it even more groove. I wonder why they took out the second guitar?
EvH
Guys, the version of Yesterdays on Live Era IS the one from Vegas 1992. The raw (and way better mastered) version is on the maxi-CD single of Yesterdays.

IncitingChaos
I can't remember if this is true or not, but did Slash have a big involvement in getting Live era done and out there? I thought I remember reading that he and Axl did work on the album but at different times, and Axl didn't really want to release it. I'm not saying this as fact just wondering if someone here can confirm this for me or if it's all in my head.
ChineseIRS
Yeah i think it was Dels job to find the best tapes they had and Slash and Axl did the work from there. I have an Guitar World mag from back then where Slash talked about the process.
