tomfriend
Seen a few good ones this year but best of the lot was Patti Smith performing Horses at Manchester Apollo. Just fucking majestic.

KeyserSoze
haven't posted in this thread in a good month and a half.Went to Voodoo Fest and saw Jane's Addiction, Santigold, Ozzy/Geezer/Slash/Morello, Joywave, and The Struts. Also at voodoo i got the chance to see Clutch for the first time. They were absolutely insane. During their second song, it started pouring, which would end up being a constant throughout the rest of their set. Halfway through, the band got together on stage with someone who seemed like a big wig with a headset. After the mini meeting, Neil turned to the crowd and told everyone "they just gave us the option to walk off stage and we'd still get paid for the full set…. I'm saying fuck that! YOU guys paid for a full set, and as long as you guys are here, we will be here!!" he was really cool about it. After voodoo i headed over to catch Corrosion of Conformity and Mastodon play a special late night show. I ended up missing COC because we got there late, But Mastodon (complete with Troy in a Clutch T-Shirt) was fucking insane. My third time seeing them and the best.Last weekend i caught King Diamond and Exodus. I recommend this to anyone thinking of going who hasn't bought a ticket. King Diamonds stage show is absolutely nuts.Tomorrow I'm catching In Hearts Wake/Thy Art Is Murder/Miss May I and Parkway DriveAlso thinking about getting a ticket to see Havok this sunday.. username
Well, my 2015 is done concert-wise. And it was a slow year. Not that many gigs. The fewest since 2006 probably. Especially considering that both April entries are open ear free festivals. But the quality was definitely there. Queen, AC/DC and Flogging Molly are world class. DIFF is my new discovery of 2015. 2015-11-27 - DIFF, The Blind Roofers @ Simplon, Groningen2015-07-28 - Flogging Molly, Wolfling @ Melkweg, Amsterdam2015-05-05 - AC/DC @ Gelredome, Arnhem2015-04-27 - DIFF @ Koningsdag, Vismarkt, Groningen2015-04-26 - Mooi Wark @ Koningsnacht, Vismarkt, Groningen2015-03-14 - Acda & de Munnik @ Martiniplaza, Groningen2015-01-30 - Queen & Adam Lambert @ Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam

Val22
I saw Steel Panther on Friday night. What a fun night we all had! This band is both funny and talented. Did all their hits and had some babes from the audience come up on stage to rock as well.It was pretty much sold out and everyone seemed to be having fun and was singing along with the band.Their songs are so damn funny yet we all sang those dumb lyrics anyway. lol
