I'd never heard of the guy, so he hooked up his phone to the car and played me some. This shit is fucking ace! Great modern mix of Americana, blues, folk and maybe just a hint of country. So far I've heard his most recent album (self titled, 2013) and Riverboat Soul. Any fans of his around here? He's signed to Jack White's label now and has released a few eps and singles thru Third Man.
