Paulywauly
What are the chances if getting them on Jools Holland, it seems it would be the type of thing Axl would like as it's not so commercial. I'm surprised they haven't been on when they've been in the UK. Anyone know if they were ever supposed to be on it?

alfierose
The Jools Holland NYE shows are usually pretty good. It would be cool to see Guns on one of these but yes, would make more sense if they has something to promote.
username
Having GnR on any show would be good. Having them on a show like this would be amazing. BUT as long as there's no news, no album, no nothing, same shit different day, it's ultimately pointless. There's nothing to promote or be excited about. maynard
I don't remember seeing cover bands on Jools Holland, NuGNR would be the first.
niceguy
Yes because Jools Holland wants to display DJ ashba playing SCOM while wearing a top hat and smoking a cig. Not everyone is as deluded as some of the people on this forum. Or Axl.
DieselDaisy
It sees itself as quite a, musical, show, Jools, by which acts play music from their new release. They do have oldies acts on but these acts are usually revered. I doubt they would be interested in Axl's Vegas charade.
RandallFlagg
If Axl is in anything but his mid-late touring cycle form it will be an absolute disaster, he almost always seems to shell up with the proshot performances. I remember a Muse performance on Jools Holland, after they finished Knights of Cydonia, the rest of the bands might as well have packed up. Strange Broue
It will probably never happen since Axl and GNR were never the band for this show....Jools is for alternative artists mostly
Nosaj Thing
Never.Axl's band is too boring for that show.

ShadowOfTheWave
I've never seen the forum this negative. Can only imagine if another year goes by with nothing new from from Axl.
Tom2112
It's only useful it there's a new album to promote. Metallica have played it a number of times, if a new album appears Jools holland would be a great place to promote it.
tomfriend
I know from first hand experience Jools is a twat. He is also a snob and wouldn't have GNR on in a million years. It took him 20+ years to have Alice Cooper on, during a time when Alice has been regularly touring the UK and done just about every other TV show, and even then his appearance was protested by Mr Short Man Syndrome.
