merslain Posted November 17, 2014 Share Posted November 17, 2014 He is one of my favorite artists of all time. He doesn't have a wide vocal range so he typically sounds the same in that sense. I like a lot of his lyrics and his style.Musically speaking he is fairly diverse in my opinion. Something like "Say Yes" or "southern belle" is a simple little acoustic song and works great. Then he does something like "waltz #2" which has a lot going on musically and just a nice groove.Then something like "distorted reality..."
