Jabberwocky
HiI figured I'd share some of my music. I don't know what genre it would fall under but that don't concern me much. Sticking to one genre is like punching in a work clock to me. So anyways, here it is. All pink and naked and flopping in the breeze. I'd like to point out it's just me and my electric guitar, recorded in my living room. Lyrics are embedded in the descriptions. I have older stuff but this is my newest. https://soundcloud.com/thejeffhill/11-downpourhttps://soundcloud.com/thejeffhill/12-we-were-lyinghttps://soundcloud.com/thejeffhill/13-pistols-at-dawnhttps://soundcloud.com/thejeffhill/14-unsound-mind Edited December 9, 2014 by Jabberwocky
Strange Broue
Nice "fuzzbox" sound, almost like a modern stoner guitar sound

Chewbacca
That's pretty cool, man. Love the guitar tone and how the frontman blends perfectly with it. Nice to see somebody else using a fuzz nowadays. I'm damn happy with my Big Muff.

Nice to see somebody else using a fuzz nowadays. I'm damn happy with my Big Muff. Thanks man. I have just very rudimentary equipment. I use my Ibanez (couldn't tell you any specifications because I don't know what they would be anyways) that I bought used for $120, a Big Muff, and a small Kustom Dart amp. The microphone was some cheap 40 dollar piece I got from Radio Shack. I use Cool Edit Pro 2.0 and recorded everything digitally. I played around with different string settings and my vocal harmonies just so it would flow together.I have about 3 albums worth of songs but these 14 are the only ones with any vocals. (EDIT: Sounds kinda familiar.) Some I have where I want some drums but since I live in the boonies I don't know of any drummers. This area is condusive to just country and bluegrass. Tried Fruity Loops but failed miserably.I do want to try and sell these digitally downloadable through Bandcamp or something similar. I know that you have to use PayPal but I'm ignorant on shit like that. I'll press CD-R's but only for the few college stations I've researched that MIGHT play it and for reviews sites. Klay
I liked the vocals harmonies; there's a Beach Boys vibe into it (which is great).

Jabberwocky
OK, something brand spanking new. First is a psychedelic video piece called Soap Scum. Just something to veg out to. And a new song called Harvesting. The vocals are a bit wonky since I recorded them in one take but it's to get a overall general ideahttps://soundcloud.com/thejeffhill/harvesting

I do, though, need a better mic. What guitar stuff I've recorded in this vien needs a mic that will clearly pick up on the vocals so my lyrics can be understood.I've never heard of Clock DVA so I had to look them up. I like what I see so far. I got lots of more ideas for future videos. Some of what I just posted but also some mini-documentaries and an ARG.
