J Dog
For whatever reason, I have never listened to that Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Always wondered if it was as good as everyone made out. Those Cash American Recordings are great. They have that Makaveli, Nirvana unplugged feeling. Sixes
For whatever reason, I have never listened to that Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Always wondered if it was as good as everyone made out. Those Cash American Recordings are great. They have that Makaveli, Nirvana unplugged feeling.Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is very good but of course, very few things live up to the massive hype they get. I'd certainly recommend it, especially if you like the other Wilco albums and like their progressionThose Cash albums are unsurpassed. And one of the many things I like is that you start with the first album and Cash is in full voice, but by the 6th album, he is frail and near death. It's haunting to hear. The 4 volume box set that accompanies the 6 proper albums are essential as well

Johnny Drama
One album? Really. Are you going to nag me like that, only to completely ignore it when I spend several minutes making a list?Actually it got me listening to Illmatic again to try and figure out what people love about it so much. Still felt drowsy once the first two songs were over. But yeah, sick list. I love all the others. I love my list and all but it's not as diverse as my taste as a whole. Whereas your's is even though it's a few .Never pegged you as a Neil Young fan though.
