Unripe almonds with salt soaked in water from the gutters was also kinda wierd.

Where on earth was this?

I am sure you have a hunch :). Somewhere in Iran, I can't remember the city, during Muharram.

Hah, I suspected the worst :P Was this some road-side stall or something?

Yep. I was disappinted since I thought the salt was sugar and was hoping for some Iranian sweets.

Yep. I was disappinted since I thought the salt was sugar and was hoping for some Iranian sweets.

I've never heard of this before, but did a quick Google and found this:

Psilocybin mushrooms and norwegian cheese Gudbrandsdalsost. Lime tree leaves in childhood

Lime flavoured Dorritos...

Waits for it...

I still miss those things.

We don't have Doritos and citrus lime. This is a lime tree with eatable leaves (when they are really young), you should try it :D

We don't have Doritos and citrus lime. This is a lime tree with eatable leaves (when they are really young), you should try it :D

'Limeyland' doesn't have lime trees with edible lime leafs, and I can't find them in Tesco...

Yes, you can. Leaves are tasty only in childhood anyway.
