How would you feel if Axl announced retirement?

Recommended Posts

I think it's fair to say he's semi-retired. Not completely gone, just enough to keep the band alive. All the other members side projects bears witness to a lack of activity for GN'R. A little touring here, an album every 10 years there

The guy has toured pretty consistently for the past 6 years...?

Tours: December 2009 - December 2010

October 2011 - December 2011

February 2012 - July 2012

October 31st 2012 - July 17th 2012

March 20th 2014 - June 7th 2014

That's pretty consistent touring for a six year period, plus the Live Blu-Ray/DVD. The only thing he's not been doing is releasing music.

There are quite a few available months in the years you posted there. What he's doing during that time is anyone's guess. But it's not like he's very active you surely have to agree? One or two interviews per year

Sadness. Axl's too young to retire.

Look at Mick Jagger. The guy is 70 and still releases albums and tours occasionally.

I would respect what Axl wants, but it would be sad not to never see him in concert again, but I would wish him all the best.
