Graeme
http://blacklanternmusic.bandcamp.com/album/g-i-m-p-government-issue-music-protestI think you'll love this... You might not get some of it, but for post-Referendum urban Scotland, it's an astounding State-of-the-Union address.
Len Cnut
Can i just say that is literally the best hip hop i have EVER heard out of the UK? That beat is sick and see, look, im always pointed at for banging on about authenticity, see THAT is authentic, actual people talking about their thing and their situation, not a bunch of wallies from South London talking ebonics and going on about 'Feds' like a bunch of wannabe prats. I got more respect for Mike Skinner than them lot simply for the fact that its...honest. I really enjoyed that Graeme, thanks man
Graeme
Yeah, Loki's on the ball as a musician, a lyricist and a political commentator. When Sandy came up to Glasgow on the night before the referendum, we listened to Loki talk, and even though he was on the opposite side of the fence in terms of results, I think he was impressed with what he had to say. Graeme
Man, the form and content of the Unimportance of Being Idle is just fucking sublime. It's like the musical antidote to UKIP and The Daily Mail rolled up into one groovy package. I swear I've had that conversation so many times...
