BreakDown2014
I'm thrilled to hear some new Stinson tunes. I've never heard anything from The Compulsions except for a few live videos, but I'll definitely give this album a check when it comes out
IncitingChaos
So has Axl just let these guys go do whatever. I imagine he made the decision that the next album will feature the CD era music and told everyone that they are free to do whatever creatively outside of GNR. The GNR album is done. Seb91
I'm thrilled to hear some new Stinson tunes. I've never heard anything from The Compulsions except for a few live videos, but I'll definitely give this album a check when it comes outSame! I'm a huge fan of Tommy's solo stuff (The Bash & Pop record is great as well). The guy can really capture that sloppy/sleazy Stones vibe - he reminds me of Izzy in that regard. Judging from Going Down I'd love for Tommy to have a much bigger input songwriting wise in Guns (although we all know a new album will probably never come!). Out of the side projects from the guys in the band, I like Tommy's the most. Loved Ron's Abnormal record though. It's frustrating Axl has all these talented guys in the band but they're stuck covering other people's stuff for the most part. The Guns version of Motivation is awesome and Going Down shows how Tommy's stuff would sound given the GN'R treatment.
dando
so this means Ron is out, right?I think he's out , he's removed GNR from all his social media stuff , however he's still playing with guns 2 roses in London in March

magisme
It could have been worse, I guess. I would have loved to hear Axl do that chorus. Fuckin' dick.
ChineseIRS
The music is pretty cool. The verse lyrics and melody are boring. Chorus is awesome. Lead work is amazing. Those who rule out Fortus being able to handle lead on his own in Guns are deaf. Would love to hear Axl on that chorus also!

J Dog
Better than I expected. Pretty cool those guys still work and hang together outside of GNR.Looking forward to whatever Tommy is working on. I liked Gorilla Head.
Silent Jay
Listening to the new album. Good old rock n roll with mindblowing guitar work by Richard, so underused. Highly recommended.

Click below and check out the advance version of "Evil Bastards!"https://soundcloud.com/the-compulsions/evil-bastards-advance-version#t=0:37Cool song! Lyrics are a bit meh in places, and the solo doesn't really go anywhere (still good though), besides that I like it. I would like to hear a new GnR song in similar vein to this, this is probably a little too classic rock for the current GnR considering what CD sounds like. I think something like this song is much, much closer to what the majority of old and new GnR fans want to hear from Axl and the band.. actually the majority of people just want to hear Axl singing over something like 'Avalon' or just about anything off 'World On Fire' and not just because it's Slash's record, mainly it's because Axl excels when singing fast aggressive blues-rock music (but that's hardly a new opinion on MyGnR).
