Full points for making it and I totally get that it's your list, but I'd lean towards stuff from Thriller going backwards if I was making my own- not that I could even name 100 MJ songs if I'm honest.

I do like the later stuff and really like History but I couldn't put that above songs like Lenny mentioned, especially the Jackson 5.

Way too niche. There's a reason an artist has really well known songs.

What a crock of shit. So an artist or bands best songs are always their biggest hits?? Spoken like a true casual fan. I think you'd find most GNR fans would pick Coma and Locomotive over Paradise City.

It is wretched. Where are all the Off the Wall songs on your list?

I have five OTW songs in my list, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough at number 10, Get On The Floor at number 16, I Can't Help It at number 49, Off The Wall at 74 and She's Out Of My Life at number 84.

Most MJ fans would agree that The Jacksons albums Destiny and Triumph are every bit as good as OTW and they have been represented quite heavily in my list also.

I'm sure his supposed protest (more like drunken twattery if you ask me) is something he now regrets. After all, it cost Pulp their career Stateside (little known fact, Pulp were about to embark on a major US tour with Alanis Morrissette who was at height of her fame and popularity back then. After Jarvis Cockers stage invasion at The Brits she dropped them from the tour).

Good because bollocks to America :). And he doesn't regret it at all, not in any interview i heard since. Sorted for E's and Whizz was 100 times the performance Earth Song was that night, quitr frankly that night was remembered more for Oasis than anything else.

Listening to 'Got the Hots' and 'Carousal', two Thriller outtakes. Jesus, Jacko was literally filing away material that was first rate, Billie Jean calibre, brilliance. He just stuck these two in a cupboard somewhere and they did not come out until some complation, somewhere around the time of his death. They are ridiculously good. Both could have been hit singles.
