I've never been to Cairngorm, but it's a pretty short hop from where oor MrShankly happens to make his abode. And I tend to agree with you about the scenery. The drive from Loch Lomond through Glencoe, Fort William to Mallaig and then on to Skye was amazing. I do, but it was my 18th birthday present and I treat it like one would a good suit. The one in the photos is just a cheap "utility kilt" I bought for going to Mexico.
