dalsh327
Hopefully backstage footage of the VMA fight with Axl will be a part of it *L*. He made "Crossfire Hurricane" (Stones) and "Kid Stays in the Picture" (Robert Evans - the guy who gave Slash the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame) , so this should be a good one. Val22
Saw a photo of Kurt wearing a hoodie and sunglasses and to me he resembled a young Axl.Maybe it's just the whole rock star thing, who knows? I think most rock stars pose a certain way for pictures.

Angelica
Saw it this morning in Manhattan. It's incredibly powerful (shattering really), though there are more bells and whistles than are needed. The home video footage that comprises the bulk of the last third is particularly painful (and touching and funny - when they were happy, Kurt and Courtney were hilarious together). Despite this project being supported by his parents (although I think his Mom might have withdrawn her approval on account of some of the home video footage shown), widow and daughter, this film is wildly intrusive into his private life and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Strange Broue
Sounds good unheard kurt demos are exciting too my fav stuff from with the lights out was the solo acoustic demosYou can find the montage of heck demo on google... just random cuts, that's allI'm not sure that the film will contain any unheard thingsNirvana is one of the most bootlegged bands of all time so we can basically hear mostly everything in the past Edited April 25, 2015 by Strange Broue
Len Cnut
Basically emotional pornography. Kinda difficult to watch actually. In fact i feel a cunt for having watched it, should've switched it off right at the beginning and I consider myself a lesser person for not having the good sense to turn that off. Hey i read the fuckin' guys diaries as well so...there's something deeply unsettling about that film and i mean that in a really negative way. I really wish i hadn't watched that, it's similar to the morbid curiosity that compels me to watch a snuff film or something. I guess I'm a microcosm of the society I'm a part of...and it's really not a good thing at all.
dalsh327
The actual Montage of Heck tape is on here. http://dangerousminds.net/comments/listen_to_montage_of_heck_kurt_cobains_mind_blowing_music_montage_made_year
wasted
There's so many elements I feel extremely reluctant about but in the end I'm worth less than a copy of Heat magazine. It's line another level of Celebrity Skin.

Like Mark Arm was saying they loved their lifestyles and their place in the culture. So dont feel too bad i reckon. This is what he wanted. At least partly. What else is there? Just being pure nilhilistic junkie. This puts some ideas behind the music. The consciousness behind it. thats the message or point.

wasted
Thats something different. Just trying to salvage something from the wreck. I think there was some sort of positive collage of something there. Kind of typical liberal views off set by an unhealthy dose of cynicism about mainstream culture. Whether thats a message worth dpreading i dont know. But maybe the message was look at these two idiots. I feel like that was put on though. They were playing a game with the media. But they were deluded and lost too. Its a bit like when Dylan went electric. As media goes crazy he went deadpan. As the media made a big deal of Nirvana they joked about it. Whether it was the GNR feud or Kurt's role as a big rock star. Thats all they could do as no one will listen gender politics or political messages. All we are is lonely wreckage.
