Marc, how do you see the Slash & Izzy partnership over the years?

Marc,

I wonder how close (or not close) are Slash and Izzy these days and I wonder how close (or not close) they were from 1985 to 1991 (up till when Izzy left GNR).

How do you see their musical partnership? Why is it that they have done so little together over the years? Will they ever colaborate again? Will they ever make a full record together?

I`d love to know your personal view and thoughts on this.

I have been reading a lot of your posts on this forum and I really appreciate them.

It should be great to learn what is your view on this...

There are more chances of Duff and Izzy working and Duff is releasing some songs with Izzy in a couple of days, Slash is a good friend of Izzy, but I guess Slash will most prob record a full length album with Myles and conspirators rather than Izzy, but it would be cool to see some music by Slash and Izzy. Ghost was one of VR's early demo's, so I guess Izzy would have recorded his parts and send it to Slash over mail rather than being in the studio with Slash while recording it

I don't know if Marc would know the actual answer for this, but has Izzy distant himself from Slash after he did a couple of shows with Axl in 2012? or Izzy is just being Izzy and doesn't cares? Does Izzy hangs out with Slash whenever they are free?

I'm not sure what Slash meant by that. It could be about a number of different things. I do know that Slash and Axl would talk about the things that needed to be done that kept the band running. I don't know if it had anything to do with putting songs together or not. I do know that Slash did work well with Izzy when it came down to structuring the music. They both worked well off each others ideas. Maybe he was talking about when the band wanted to tour and Axl didn't. Maybe Izzy was the one that they sent to talk to Axl about that. So im not really sure what Slash was talking about when he said that. It could just be that if there was ever something that was going on that the Axl didn't agree with, but maybe Izzy did, maybe Izzy was the one that reached out to Axl to try and get me to agree? I don't remember ever seeing that.
