But then at the same time, I can't see Axl just casting them aside, especially seeing as they are the current "management team" for the band (I mean, someones gotta sit in on those three hour meetings!).In the unlikely event that a reunion ever took place, I can see the Lebeis family getting a massive payout for brokering the deal (much like Michael Jackson's ex-manager who took his estate to court and won a million-dollar settlement for "negotiating" the deal for This Is It).They didn't burp and feed Axl for two decades just to be cast aside like a bad one night stand when the wife comes home. dalsh327 Posted May 25, 2015 Share Posted May 25, 2015 I read she ran a restaurant near there with her brother (somewhere near Port Hueneme, name escapes me), and remember her saying she ran a restaurant in Pennsylvania (or New Jersey?). Maybe Axl gifted the money to open it, or she made enough on her own to help her brother out. But after managing GNR, I don't think she'd have a problem building a roster of artists. Bernie Taupin ran a restaurant in LA for years (maybe Marc remembers the name) and his brother worked there. It wouldn't surprise me if Axl's a silent partner in a lot of businesses. Słash Posted May 25, 2015 Share Posted May 25, 2015 Well at this moment, Slash and Duff won't care If the Lebeis family is handling the band, Slash and Duff would just on stage and play for the fans and go backstage and take their paychecks, but as Axl had a long history with them, So I can Assume that Axl will talk and blend in with Slash and Duff like old times, like now after the show Axl is doing something separate and the other band members are in their own world, there is hardly any communication or real friendship between them and Ashba forcing himself on to Axl is not called friendship, Axl seemed very happy when Duff was back and they blended wellI would want Niven to come back, but I know that won't happen and Axl won't "Fire" the Lebeis family, even if in the future the Lebeis family doesn't wants to do anything with GNR, they already would have many Investments (Thanx to Axl) which would be giving them a pretty good income Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He'd likely have to boot out the people who he considers family, he'd also have to get rid of all the current band members (even the ones who don't cause him headaches) and will basically have to admit the huge struggle of the last 15 years has been a huge mistake.Just seems unlikely he'd do all that for someone he's felt deeply betrayed by. Or just maybe it will be a woman or child we haven't heard of yet...I know some people here think those in their fifties are positively ancient but realistically he still has time and opportunity for creating a family if he wanted.Or perhaps the estate will just go to a dog shelter or the LA Zoo!
