cuneo77 Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 quick questions:when slash died on the illusions tour and was supposely told by axl "you scared us, i thought id have to find another guitar player".that go down or was axl concerned, scared, etc for his well being?? I just dont see axl being that cold.when spaghetti came out and slash was promoting it, there was a quote saying he "never liked being in a band with izzy", any truth to that (seems silly to me)and more recently,like 2 wks ago here in houston i went to the show, when did flash photography beceome an issue, then there wa a supposed meet n greet that he cancelled, but still signed for us outside but again no pics with him. think he was having a bad day?i took pics with him before.thanks marc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's strange because alot of these "fans" are ebayers and will sell his autograph but it's not like you could sell a picture of yourself with Slash. Maybe he's so rich that he doesn't care what someone does with his autograph after he signs it? Either way I'd rather have a picture with him than an autograph from him. I feel the same way about pics in general, but can you imagine if all those people waiting after a show wanted pics? I'm sure many would be fumbling with their cameras, too. He doesn't have all the time in the world after a show. They need to get going to the next location. To the point about the ebayers, at the Hampton Beach show last month, he stopped signing early because people were jumping back into line to get another autograph. He was a very nice guy, but seemed uncomfortable by the attention he received. It was surprising to me as there were only 6 of us who got to meet him before the shoot and get a picture with him. I just dont see axl being that cold.There was a time when Slash was very sick during a Snakepit tour and even through Axl was very pissed at Slash, he was still concerned with Slash's health.
