Forsaken
Today, we celebrate the beautiful independence of our great US of A. Today, with the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, we were free from the mighty clutches of the British Empire. Let us rejoice. Let us shoot fireworks, have our parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, and of course the beloved family reunions. This ones for you, forefathers. Snake-Pit
The 20th century; is America's century. That's why we wear baseball caps, denim jeans, and have fast food by way of fries/soda & fried chicken/burger or pizza & popcorn... It's all just American culture; because they did all that stuff and claimed the 20th century. Edited July 4, 2015 by Snake-Pit

Snake-Pit
I ran from my place in Thornton Heath to Benjamin Franklin's House in Charing Cross some 11 miles away, and when I got there, I saved the 2 hour run to my run keeper, and lit and smoked a joint there.http://runkeeper.com/user/2056032784/activity/605846415and took this photo at the end of my run too.I also made sure to include Electric Avenue on this run too. Was fun.

Graeme
Quite ironic that the Americans celebrate independence so vociferously, considering their government opposed Scottish independence last year.
