Gracii Guns
I don't want to watch the video on principle of taste, but having just set up a business account with HSBC, I feel very awkward. In their favour, I recieved the best customer service at a bank I've ever had. And I trusted her choice from her better business knowledge. She also runs an ethical accreditation company, which contributed to letting her decide. She's a very informed person, and we agree on our politics, so I'm surprised that she went with HSBC really. No, I'm not keen on drug money laundering, and I will mention these issues to her at an appropriate time.
Dazey
No, I'm not keen on drug money laundering, and I will mention these issues to her at an appropriate time. I wouldn't bother if I were you. You're looking for a business account, not a babysitter.

You're looking for a business account, not a babysitter. It's been loads of work for 3 business partners just to open a business bank account. Everything to do with big money is corrupt somewhere along the line. Just would be interesting to hear why she chose HSBC on ethical grounds. DieselDaisy
Are you assuming there is such a thing as an ethical bank?
AtariLegend
Actually taking a banking related course part time at the minute, I'll make sure to mention this the next time the lecturer mentions "code of conduct".I actually think the worst part of that video, is that they were stupid enough to film it. Gracii Guns
Are you assuming there is such a thing as an ethical bank? There were/are a couple. But personal ethics can always differ from corporate ethics. You're not going to get interest that's worth your time at either though.
