Wow Marc this must have been awesome

No setlist for this I guess (?)

Do you have any idea which songs they played

I am specially curious if they played any "unusual" cover (i.e. a cover that they didnt play ever again on GNR) and i am also very curious to know if they had any original song that was "forgotten" later (and not played on HR and GNR shows)

Do you know if there is any audio or video recording of this show?

That should be terrific!

Sorry for so many questions and thanks for posting this

I wonder what Steve Darrow is doing these days...

It seems he has moved on in life

Thats not him. Here is his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/steven.darrow.14?fref=ts

Btw per gig how much did they get paid as Hollywood Rose or when GNR played clubs back in the day

They didn't get paid in Hollywood Rose. When GNR started playing they didn't get paid until they started selling out the Troubadour and the first time that happend was 11/22/85 but they still didn't get paid that much around then. Maybe a few houdred dollars.

I had taped the gig but for what ever reason I can't find it.

wow Marc thanks for the reply

Is "EVERYTHING OK" a song? I never heard about that one!

I never listened to "ROCK N ROLL SERVIVER" (SURVIVOR?) and "ROCK N ROLL ROSE" also!

I think I have read something about these 2 songs (I guess in RECKLESS ROAD book) but I am not sure...

Do you know if Slash had any input on the writing of any of these 3 songs?

I`D LOVE TO LISTEN TO THEM!

:headbang:

COLD HARD CASH has been circulating for a while, I guess since the time when the Hollywood Rose tapes (demo) leaked (before the Hollywood Rose CD was released).

And of course there are 2 o3 3 versions of HAIR OF THE DOG available...

But I can only guess how terrific HAIR OF THE DOG and COLD HARD CASH must have sounded back then!

It should also be fun to listen to familiar songs like NICE BOYS, BACK OFF BITCH, ANYTHING GOES and SHADOW OF YOUR LOVE with only Slash taking care of the guitar (no second guitar!)

WOW...

It should be awesome to listen (or to watch) this show! Hope one day you can find it and somehow make it available!

Thanks for the info, Marc

:headbang:
