What concerts you have enjoyed the most? Im asking about your fav. bands, I guess you are a big Aerosmith fan, so generally what band concerts you have been to and really enjoyed them

When was the last time you went to a Slash concert? were you side/back stage or you were in the crowd?

Generally you like to be in the crowd and enjoy the show or you prefer to be on the side of the stage?

Back in the day, I saw some great shows AC/DC back in Black tour from the 3 row, I saw Ozzy with Randy on 2 tours both from the 1st row, I saw Pink Floyd the Wall tour and everything else that was good from 1980 to 1986 that came to LA. After that I a backed down a bit from seeing a lot of shows. A few years ago I saw Rage Against The Machine and System Of A Down and those were both great shows. Its hard for me to really enjoy a gig these days. I saw Aerosmich last year but was not really impresses.

I do see Slash everytime he come around last time was at the Troubadour last year and he played well. I like to watch the gig from the crowd. Its a great way to really know what it sounds like from there. Slash knows that if I was at the gig that I will give him the real feedback to how it was. Its not that he has yes men working for him, its that he knows that I know better and will also tell him the truth if something was wrong.

in the end of 2000 when new GNR was getting ready to do the Vegas New Years gig and Rock N' Rio 3, Axl invited me to check out a band rehearsal. He wanted my opinion on the band. I told him Nightrain and NR were off the charts. Bucket did a good job doing Slashs stuff and then put his own spin on it too. I was going to be the hardest one to please when it came down to the guitar playing in GNR when Slash was gone.

Is that just because they can't compare to the ones from the 80's? Are there any new bands around that you really like, as a fan who lived through Rock's latter heyday? :)

It seems like bands today don't have much of an image. There was a time that you could identify every member in the band and that meant something. Now you can hardly identify 2 of the members in a band. I know that in todays world bands can only make a living doing live shows and you would think they would put on a great rock N' roll show but something is missing. There was a time where you could go to the poster store and buy a great rock N' Roll poster. Not anymore, the best you can do is buy a vintage poster from the 70's. For me its just boring and way overed priced to go to a gig. I find myself falling a sleep at gigs these days so I don't even bother going. My wife goes to shows by her self these days. If there were something like Zeppelin touring, then I would go to see that. I could just be that I have seen all thses bands when they were in their prime so its hard to watch them now when there only half as good?
