Axl hired Sean Beaven to work on Chinese Democracy very soon after his work on Mechanical Animals, so there's that. Also, did he ever say anything about Manson's comments on him in his book (that Trent took him backstage to a GNR concert where he met Axl and told him about Charles Manson's musical career, which Axl had not known about beforehand)?
