username
2016-03-15 - Maria Mena @ Paradiso, Amsterdam 2016-06-01 - Adele @ Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam 2016-06-08 - Iron Maiden @ Gelredome, Arnhem 2016-07-08 - Buddy Guy, The Roots @ North Sea Jazz Festival, Ahoy, Rotterdam Shaping up nicely! Never seen any of them other than Maria Mena, so that's a lot of first's to cross off. Still considering: Flogging Molly @ Bospop Festival, Weert Halestorm @ Tivoli, Utrecht Matt Schofield @ P60, Amstelveen Neil Young @ Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam Pokey LaFarge @ Paradiso, Amsterdam Pinkpop Festival (Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rammstein confirmed) I probably won't take any action on any of these until there's some more certainty with the whole GnR situation. Powerage5
Maiden announced a Croatian gig for while I'll be in Europe, so I'll be at that one too. Puts me at 19 Maiden gigs this year, with one or two more still to find out about

I'd say you've successfully bridged the gap between passion and addiction.
Mansin Humanity
Living in Atlanta has its rap show advantages, amongst other things. List so far: 3/5 - Dropkick Murphys (Atlanta) 3/11-3/12 - 311 (New Orleans) 3/20 - Wiki & Antwon (Atlanta) 3/21 - Pusha T (Atlanta) 5/6 - Freddie Gibbs (Atlanta) 5/13 - Flatbush Zombies (Atlanta) In the "might/probably will do but don't have tickets for yet" file, we have Bruce Springsteen and AC/DC in Atlanta in a few weeks, Tame Impala at Red Rocks in August, Bonnaroo in June, and 311 back up in Maine in July. Shaping up to be a great concert year.

I gotta be honest and say I'm not a big Brand New fan. I saw them last summer and it just wasn't my deal but I do like Modest Mouse and haven't seen them yet, so I'm down for this show. My buddy loves her some Brand New, so it works out for both of us.

From what I've seen of them, BN can be pretty spotty live. But if you haven't given it a shot, try their album The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me some time, especially their song Jesus (it sounds very Modest Mouse-ish). James Bond
I'll probably make Duran Duran happen next month - it's a casino show ten minutes from me. The venue only holds 1500 people so it'll be a nice small show before the tour proper starts. Technically it's "sold out" but all the unclaimed comp tickets get released on show day (plus StubHub gets pathetically low) so I'll wait until the last minute to catch a deal since it's not like I have to allow much for travel time. So: March 26th - Duran Duran (Niagara Falls, Canada) July 13th - Duran Duran / Chic (Toronto) That's it, because I'm going away in August and GNR will likely be the weekend following the second Duran Duran show so I'll need cash for both of those. username
Should I, or shouldn't I? I've seen McCartney twice but he's awesome. I've never seen Rammstein or the Chili's, I like Halestorm (seen them twice before), I love Doe Maar (seen them once before). € 195,- for a festival ticket € 95,- for a day ticket The catch is I have to be on a plane to Scotland at 8AM the day after the festival. KeyserSoze
i would definatly do Friday and Saturday. but if you had to choose between the two, RHCP is extreamly crazy and fun live, but Rammsteins live show is something you will never forget. its freaking insane. Check out Ghost too.. they are amazing live.
GivenToFly
I just got my first ticket for this year, Runrig at Edinburgh Castle in late July. I'm still deciding on the rest. I have three european tours I want to catch (Springsteen, Maiden and Flogging Molly), almost certainly one date each, while fitting this around Euro 2016 and some traveling. Unfortunately I didn't know about Chris Cornell in Glasgow and it's sold out and resale prices are far too high
Black Sabbath
Got a free ticket to Black Sabbath next Saturday at Madison Square Garden, so looks like I'm going to that
James Bond
I can officially say I'm seeing Duran Duran next month for a casino show! A day earlier than I planned so I'm officially going to the tour opener before the tour opener (initially I planned for the Saturday if the two shows but I had the opportunity to get tickets for the Friday show). This is the third time I've been in this situation - I saw Slash in 2012 at his small warm-up gig for Canadian music week and The Killers later the same year when they played a warm-up show at the Sound Academy before doing the ACC later on.
