Don't see much interaction between Richard and Slash.

They don't play off each other at all. Like two separate entities.

I miss Izzy - and even Gilby.  I like Richard - but not with the classic lineup.

Ah memories.  They had just finished playing November Rain in April of 1993 in Sacramento.  Then some idiot threw a bottle on stage and knocked Duff out, ending the show.

That was the last time I saw GNR on stage.  I was there.

both of you, go to your rooms and think about what you've said. you're both grounded until further notice.

Maybe it's my stream, but Slash's tone sounds terribly thin and weak. I was hoping for that thick and creamy sound he had during the 90s tours, but guess not. Sad Axl is fullbon Mickey now. I guess it's better than nothing, but sorry if I feel this performance sorta sullies the classic GNR name a little. Slash and Fortus don't mesh at all...

He's using the Marshall Jubilee heads which are closer to the classic Appetite tone than the more distorted sound he used on the Illusions.

axl worked his voice off between 86-93. he gave everything for a top notch performance. the chainsaw voice back then was perfect. its still good for his age, but really sounds like mickey and i don't like it.

very true, he was the consummate performer back then and left it all on the table.

the sad part of these shows is the realization of just how unlikely it would be for this incarnation of 'GNR' to record any new material. and the thing is, Axl would be the first person to admit that.
