telly
Have any of the VIP ticket-holders received their "goody bag" yet? I was under impression it was to be mailed to us but just talked w AXS and rep said it was supposed to be picked up at venue. He apparently is opening a ticket up with the promoter and i should receive a call within 10 business days. Hope i'm not out of luck. Not expecting much from the good bag but want it since it cost so much.

tsinindy
By chance can anyone tell me what Axl said when they wheeled him out in the throne to open the show Friday night? I caught, "good evening", but I can't make out what he says just before that and after it. Thanks.

Popular Post PatrickS77
Some of my pictures below. Still can't believe that I got into GA with my Section 8 ticket. Once I found the way to the floor I just walked in, only to have the guard walk after me and tap on my shoulder, when I pretended to not see him and not hear his request for the ticket. So I handed him the confirmation slip part of my ticket. He read it and read it and read it... must have been a minute... in my mind I was saying to him 'just throw me out already and put me out of my misery'. Then, after he read some more, he handed me back the ticket and said "Okay." and off I was towards the front. The dude must have been so confused by that confirmation part of ticket that he couldn't tell left from right or he just did me a favour and let me go. Either way, I couldn't believe it. I went up to the front row of the seated section, sat there for a bit and watched the two sides leading into the GA area. On the right side there were 3 securities checking people. On the left, there was only one, occasionally turning his back to the entrance to talk to the guy checking the barrier in front of the seats. So when he turned around again to talk to him, I just went for it and walked in, never looked back and disappeared amongst the crowd. I could easily walk up to the fifth/sixth row. First I was standing behind a rather tall couple, who could easily see over my head. So magically I suddenly was in front of them and stood there for a couple of minutes, when that tall douche, who, like I said, could easily see above me, suddenly felt the need to object. He was trying to make a bit of a scene, pulling my arm and stuff, but I just chose to ignore him and pretend I didn't understand what he meant and wanted from me. His equally tall girlfriend, with whom I made some friendly eye contact before, told him to relax (my thank you to her) and that it was okay and he finally realized, that I wouldn't go away and that I'm certainly not in a position to block his view. So he backed off. I had an amazing view myself, as there were no tall people in front and the stage was rather high and when they moved Axl's chair to the left, he really was right in front of me. After the heartbreak of standing outside the Troubadour the other week, that was exactly what I needed and deserved. All four of us (which includes three of us left outside the Troubadour, where only one of us got in), who travelled from Austria to Vegas together and were facing the prospect of crappy seats, ended up in the GA section. Victory. Edited April 14, 2016 by PatrickS77

No harm in trying anyway.
