Dazey
Best flights I can find so far are £1200 return and the Luxor for 5 nights at £300. Thank god for American Express!
Tom-Ass
I was going to buy tickets during the presale, but they are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Add in flights and hotel and we're talking like $3k for 2 people to see them. Gimme a break. I've been a fan since the late '80s and have seen the band dozens of times since 1991, but I'm not paying these prices. Priceline.com.. I just got non stop flights from Boston plus two nights in a hotel on the strip for $475 a person. There were some packages as low as $380 per person. DieselDaisy
I was semi tempted to pick up a medium range ticket and travel, enough to enter the waiting room and stay there in a somewhat undecided frame of mind, but nahh: they will have to come to England I'm afraid. Axl is too much of a risk to travel for; he may have a hissy fit and not bother turning up. Besides, it coincides with the start of the cricket season. BadApples87
I paid $30 to see Guns n Roses/Metallica/Motorhead in 1992. I paid about the same to see Guns n Roses and Skid Row. I paid the same to see Guns N Roses and Brian May. That's 3 concerts, that also had stellar bands along with it, for a grand total of $90 bucks.I know all about inflation relative to 25 years ago, but c'mon! Subtle Signs
If they announce LA area warm up shows prior to these Vegas shows will we all be selling our Vegas tickets like some of us did with Coachella?

Do you have more pressing responsibilities, if yes to the former and no to the latter just do it!Look how many forum members are going, it's not just about Axl, you've been a member here for a long time. Binge_And_Slash
None of my friends really get why I'm so pumped about this. I only know a few of you in real life but it's nice to have people who are as excited as I am. While I am going alone to Vegas I won't feel alone at the shows. Same here mate. Totally can't wait for this, first time flying on my own anywhere. Just figure if I walk round a few bars with a guns shirt I'm bound to get chatting to a few people.I went to the last week of the 2014 Residency aone and made friends within a day.
Gordon Comstock
If they announce LA area warm up shows prior to these Vegas shows will we all be selling our Vegas tickets like some of us did with Coachella? The Vegas shows were actually advertised as the first shows, so I doubt they'll add a 'secret warm up show'.

Subtle Signs
I wonder what the mix will be like opening night? As far as hardcore fans/casual fans/hipsters/VIP's/high rollers etc.

If that's for Premium Economy, I say go for it, so much more comfortable than cattle class, the flight is nearly 11 hours long! £300 for 5 nights sounds amazing! IncitingChaos
I wonder what the mix will be like opening night? As far as hardcore fans/casual fans/hipsters/VIP's/high rollers etc.Potentially there will be some big names there who might be in Vegas for the fights anyways. But who knows, I think they have a lot of people who are anxious to see them and it could attract some of the bigger names.
BadApples87
The new arena is right next to New York New York. MGM Grand across the street. If you are looking for a deal close to the strip, but just off it......look for Orleans and Gold Coast. Yeah, they aren't quite as cool, but you spend all your time on the strip anyways and you just need a place to crash. I was just in Vegas last weekend. Also, if you want a killer rooftop view of the strip. Hit Voodoo lounge at Rio, Ghost Bar at the Palms. Although neither are very "rock n roll", mostly club music, but the view is worth it. Subtle Signs
I wonder if it'll be pretty much the same set both nights? Or if the band figures a lot of fans are going to both nights? So if we are lucky then they mix it up by what, three songs the second night?

HmmmmI know our GNR-Insiders have said that Izzy is in for Vegas and Coachella but I can see them saving something special solely for Coachella. How about broadcasting a few songs with the AFD five to millions of fans on the Coachella stream as a way to sell the upcoming Stadium tour? LOLFrom the Metal Sludge boards:MGM is sitting on 1000's of tickets for their "high rollers" and friends and family who will want to go. All of the MGM owned casinos will have an allotment as this is the first show at the new arena. I will get tickets, won't pay a dollar for them either.http://forums.metalsludge.tv/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=328502&start=
