Does the monorail go all the way to Freemont?

Unfortunately no....it runs from the Westgate to MGM.

i say unfortunately as I'm staying downtown at the Golden Gate and wished it ran all the way down there, but it does not :(

How far is this place from the Ashba party? Yes,I'm going to his store opening. Unlike many here who have a strange dislike for someone they'll never know in real life,I've been a fan of Ashba since the early days of Metal Sludge.

Fewl free to knock-off the constant insulting of the rest of the board anytime now.

You've made a post similar to this several times now and it's getting old. Fan of DJ and want to go to his store? Great, good for you, I hope you enjoy it! However, there's absolutely no need to continue insulting the rest of the board based on your guess that they'd kiss any person in particulars ass if they had the chance.

How is that an insult?  It's an observation ,but yeah you are right,Broham. I'm going to Vegas to see (at least) 3/5ths of the real deal and to meet fans from all over the world and what anyone does or doesn't do for party passes (TM) won't have any impact on my enjoyment.

About 5 miles....but just a ten-ish minute cab/uber/lyft ride away.

Additionally you could make a shorty walk to SLS and then jump on the Monorail there up to MGM and walk over to NYNY from there.

Thanks. I'm a Vegas n00b and for me,this trip is ballin' on a budget so any and all tips are welcomed! I'm guessing SLS is another hotel? I'm sure there'll at least be a few others at the ASHBA party who are heading to the forum party so maybe I'll tag along with them.

Absolutely no problem.  Feel free to ask any questions you want!  Several of us here will have answers.

yes, SLS is another hotel casino.  According to mapquest it is a ten minute walk from the Strat.  The monorail only runs on the east side of Las Vegas Blvd from Westgate to MGM...Google Vegas monorail for more info

The Monorail is $5, cheapest option probably...but would include a ten walk to SLS from the Strat and another at least ten minute walk from the drop off station behind MGM to NYNY.

i just looked and a cab will be about $20, Lyft is $12 and uber $14.

Could also do a bus I believe but I do not ever really use buses in Vegas as I don't mind the walks to the monorail stations and I need the exercise :)

I didn't think we were allowed to mention the...others :)

We're totally fine with other forums being mentioned here, just not in a degrading way. For example, if something gets reported on gnrtruth, thegnrforum, gnrevolution or anywhere else for that matter, we encourage people to post their source. What we don't want is someone saying "I read this on [insult here] forum".

I get that xBrownstone was (I hope) joking, so that's why I replied like I did.
