ironicninja
Mike Dirnt from Green Day was also in attendance in Vegas, it's all over his Instagram. I don't think it would be particularly "mind blowing" if Green Day opened, and certainly no real scheduling conflicts. They are supposed to have an album out in the fall, and it could be a good leadup to that. Foo Fighters I agree would be too big, but Green Day aren't as huge as they used to be Edited May 9, 2016 by ironicninja
gt72
Green Day would be great as would be Avenged Sevenfold as someone mentioned earlier. You would think an opening act would be announced soon hopefully

Would be fucking sick if Slash did the same with SMKC That might be the best way to bring Steven Adler on board. Let his own band open for GNR (as long as they stick to original songs) and then join later on stage for a few guest spots. VR did that with Izzy a couple of times I think.
Nick85
I think The Black Keys would be a great opener. Axl's a big fan too.
xBrownstonex
Well, green day introduced them at the hall of fame...
Gackt
I love Alice in Chains, but Jerry described their chemistry with Guns the best: Alice In Chains and Guns N’ Roses go together like a punch in the neck and a kick to the crotch.
proud10
It can't be Alice in Chains or Myles Kennedy, both are booked on most dates GNR is playing. I really wish it would be Rage Against the Machine but they're not up to anything recently.

RussTCB
Unless AlterBridge are about to cancel their entire summer tour, I don't see how Myles could be involved in opening for GN'R. At this point, I'm still guessing there won't be an opener.
Swedish
I would love a reunited Skid Row! But that won't happen since Skid Row just hired a new singer and they already have announced dates this summer...

dontdamnmeuyi2015
I hope it's a well known rock band. the last time I saw GNR, a local band opened for them and they were horrible. I would be happy if GNR just played a 2 to 3 hour show and didn't have an opening band. I'm paying for GNR, so I don't care if they have an opener. BigD62
If Myles Kennedy is the opener I will be at the bar till showtime. I know he has a good voice but I cannot listen to him for 45 minutes. No thanks!

dcon
Maybe Myles opens and does double duty at gnr shows while axl fills in for him at AB shows.

PsychoKiss344
Alter Bridge and Skid Row both have dates booked for this summer that overlap with Guns.... That leaves the Foo Fighters who don't have anything planned
axlslash
Foo Fighters are the only Vegas attendees that really make sense - would explain how Axl got Grohl's throne so fast too. I'm not a huge Foo fan, but I'd see them for free (aka as an opener). Also makes sense: have an opener that can play a 1-1.5hr set in a stadium and not bore the crowd so that Axl can show up whenever the hell he wants without getting criticized.
