i just upgraded to sect 114. anyone know how the view is there? Got aisle seats-but not first row

This is 114 from this web site http://aviewfrommyseat.com/venue/Heinz+Field/  It's really helpful when choosing seats for any show. The stage will be at the other end of the field according to the map.

With the way this City Is treating the band(ticket sells) I am embarrassed to admit being from here. Don't live there anymore though.  The gray skies, cold and snow get old after a while. It also gets old running your furnace Into June at night.

I sure hope so, Pittsburgh has always been pretty good to the band but this has to be the worst selling stop of the tour up to this point. I noticed that from working In the city near the stadiums that the big country artists have no problem moving tickets. I guess we will have to wait and see. Regardless, congratulations on your tickets and have a good time.

Thats what really losses me off. They jump all over those shitty country acts that role through town, but not this? I already dislike dealing with Pittsburgh quite a bit, if this show gets cancelled because of poor ticket sales, I will never forgive that city. Really wish they would have done Cleveland instead.

I can understand your frustration. I believe ticket sales will pick up, especially with lower prices. Hopefully It will be enough to play as scheduled. There have been other shows that didn't look to good that ended up selling well so I believe It will all work out In the end.

Those shitty country acts attract a different crowd, and are probably less expensive.

Yeah I had been hoping for Cleveland all along. Would have been fun to go see gnr, and then catch a tribe game the next day! ??

No way do they cancel. The band is guaranteed their check regardless of sales, merchandise has no doubt already been produced and I just don't see any possible way of this happening. I for one am happy with the slow sales. Just grabbed a Slash side pit ticket for below face! Flying out for the day from Denver! Saw second night of Vegas and can't get enough! Rolling solo. See you freaks there, rain or shine! I'll be the big dude riding the rail in Pit 1 rocking some kind of Colorado gear and possibly pissing a few people off due to my height. I can't help it as I was born this way. I will also be getting down as hard or harder than anyone in there. Please feel free to join me!

Cheers! Drewdown

Looking forward to it!! I admit I know nothing about the inner workings of a giant production like this, but I imagine some shows over perform, while other under perform. I'm sure it all evens out, and would take a catastrophic event to actually cancel one of these giant shows. I bet they drop some ticket prices and come close to filling the joint anyway.

would love some news on an opener though... ?

His show is a trainwreck every year they have it.  I don't think that crowd gets out much and simply doesn't know how to behave in  public.

First post here, I will be at this show some how.  Would love to make the meetup.  Doesn't look like I will have issues getting a ticket.  Missed the DC gig which is my home town.  Hoping for a patience encore like they did here.  Let me know if anybody has any single tickets they need to sell coming alone.

there's still a TON of tickets left on ticketmaster. scoring a decent seat won't be a problem.
looks like the meetup will be in/arouns the casino.

Will there be a tailgate party going on then?

Likely we will be gathering at Levels bar inside Rivers Casino which is in the shadow of Heinz Field.  I am still holding out hope I can get a meeting room upstairs but it isn't looking good so right now I would say plan on Levels bar and if we get upgraded I will let everyone know.

Planning on making this trip to see GNFNR would like some information about parking it looks very complicated on the maps I've looked at. We are staying Pittsburgh North / McNight any help would be appreciated :headbang:

I probably should feel like a degenerate gambler since all my references lead to the casino, but you can park there.  They will likely charge you $65, or whatever is on par with stadium lots but if you play an hour at the tables they refund the $65.  If you aren't a gambler look me up and I'll see if I can get that comped for you.  I likely can.

Easiest in/out you will find IMO since you are staying North of town.  HOV lane back out has a McKnight Road exit so it's real hard to fuck it up.  If you aren't familiar with town and you are going to be there for the day anyway then park your car at the casino early as they won't be charging until around 4:00 or so and explore the North Shore.  Plenty to do and it's not so big you can't walk anywhere you want.

If you have specific questions let me know.
