StoneTempleRoses
it went well It does suck they didn't do Gone Shootin' cause I wanted to hear that one, but especially Touch to Much since it's Axl's favorite ACDC song you would have thought he would have asked for it to be in the set. bangit
This has been absolutely amazing. The best Axl vocal performance since the early 90s. Very impressive. Pleased for him really. Mega.
GNR 1991
Just now, SoulMonster said: His voice on Riff Raff and Rosie has been about the same as in 2011-2014, strongly suggesting this has nothing to do with phoning anything in but just being better at AC/DC songs. Because if he was phoning it in back in 2011-2014 one would expect those two songs to not be very good, too. So either he just bursts with enthusiasm when a non-GN'R song enters the set or these songs fits his voice better. Eh, I think he sounds way better on RR and Rosie in 2016 than 2011-14. If that was true, wouldn't youo haave expected his performances of Riff Raff and Rosie in 2011-2014 to have been lacklustre, too? Or are you saying that he livened up in those shows whenever they covered those two songs?

I just think he was bored with GN'R. Now that he has Duff and Slash and this side venture he clearly is having fun and feels motivated.
