Yeah I always thought he was pointless. Think there was like one Sextapes song that I kinda liked at one point but I've no recollection of it whatsoever. Also I think Axl wants a multi instrumentalist who plays obscure instruments for just in case he wants something really different sounding or like "computer generated" techno/hip hop type shit. We somehow unconsciously want to homogenize culture, put everything in a box and assign everyone their listening list. Shut up and listen. Diversity maybe but not depth or variety. I see no way for artists to develop in this kind of environment. The fans have a responsibility to get their head out of their asses before it's too late. Save the world from nostalgia.
