There's a Tumblr page dedicated to them. I think it's called "Axl and Baz are my life" (or something like that) I know what you mean and I agree with you. It'd be a dream to see more of Axl and his real friends than Axl surrounded by those fake people, fair weather "friends", who pretend to like him, only because he's a rock icon Yeah, Duff and Baz are friends too. Duff collaborated in Baz' album from 2014. I think he's in two or three songs and appears in two videos. I could even go further length and tell you that I believe Axl orchestrated the whole Baz solo career, by getting Baz a record deal to make 'Angel Down' so that he would stay away from VR as much as he could. In one of the late 2006 shows, Baz enters stage to sing 'My Michelle' and says something that made me go "I gotta thank Axl Rose 'cause I think I've got a record deal tonight". Watch it by yourself Yeah, it's total high school drama! I mean, Baz was considered for VR the first time they got together (I guess that was 2002-2003?). He says he didn't audition, he says they gave him 5 songs to work on, to which he wrote lyrics and melodies, then went to the studio and recorded them. But in the meantime, he started working in Broadway and in his absence, VR hooked up with Scott Weiland. Seems like that made him really mad. Not sure if I'm tripping here but I think Slash kind of gave Baz some shit in his book. I vaguely remember reading something like that. They had a fall out because of the VR thing and I guess that's when Baz picked Axl's side. Later (around 2007), when he was asked about the decision of choosing Scott over him, Baz said: "They put their faith in a heroin addict. How did that work out for them?” “Listen, if they had picked me we’d probably still be together right now. I’m a musician like them — I’m not a junkie and not into that kind of thing. So, they don’t have a singer and I have a new album. Let’s rock!” Somehow I smell so much Axl behind those words Those were the worst years of the Sluff/Axl drama. They were acting like those wild animals who make territorial pissings and power demostrations, you know? Scott Weiland also got into the fight, saying shit about Axl. Baz in the middle, talking shit about Scott and giving hell to Sluff. lol I'm so obsessive with this! I'm sorry I'm tormenting you with this crap. Im passionate about that whole era of madness so I've done a lot of research, talked to people, put together some clues on how everything went on. So what you're proposing I think should be the STAGE 2 of the Indexation task. Because, let's suppose I get assigned the Axl's Cats Twitter accounts topic. In order to do it correctly, I will have to browse the 120 pages myself so that I can cover all the pages where the topic was talked about. I'd waste a lot of time and every one of us would have to do the same for every topic they get. If we do it by page, soon we'll get a map of the thread and each person will have to browse only 10 pages (or as many as we decide later), once they are done, they can continue browsing other 10 pages and keep gathering topics. We are trying to index the thread and that means, we have to browse the pages and write down which topics are discussed on each page. I count you in but I'm not sure if you know what indexation means ? Anyway, it is most likely that one of us we'll start the job first and once we have a prototype, the other people will just have to follow it.
