As for gifts, the first thing that comes to my mind is the dinosaur rocking horse (rocking dinosaur? lol) that appears in the Estranged video. Axl gave that one to Slash (not sure anymore if it was as a birthday present or just because he wanted to give Slash something. Axl likes giving gifts for no reason apparently, according to various people. He's generous like that ) And Slash has kept it all these years. It had a special place in the house he used to live in with Perla and no one was allowed to touch it or use it or something. I think it's so sweet that Slash kept that thing all these years and was protective about it. I've read about other stuff as well, but can't remember it right now. Slash also gave Axl a straitjacket once for his birthday. But then Axl got pissy at Slash about something and he left the jacket somewhere for Slash to find it, basically saying fuck you to him. Uhm, i'm conflicted between Axl giving him the jacket or the guitar case full of candies, but i'm going to go with the jacket, it's the only thing Slash can keep because it's not edible, it's gnr themed and it's seem like the "biggest" gift he got, it fits with Axl giving "important" gift and it reaffirms that Slash is in his band again. The lollipops cake seems from Mandy Ward, a producer, she is the one who posted the photo originally wishing him happy BD.
