Yes he was in a very good mood tonight!!:) this last show thread isn't too bad cause people finally understood that he killed it and there isn't much complaining on it? He thanked Japan for having them there and at the and of SCOM he said to slash "I thought we were friends!" A guy at the show said Axl said that cause slash killed it on the outro solo and I can guarantee it cause watched the entire show! The band was so tight and there was a good interaction between the big three!:)

... I totally agree with Nightrain92, I watched it on Periscope and it was a GREAT show gig, really STRONG and POWERFUL ... That´s why I don´t really understand some comments type "a bit more Mickey-ish" or " if he sounds decent " as why someones compare each of Axl´s performances behind the screen of their PC. Sure, all of the concerts aren't the same, everytime it´s something new and unpredictable, bcs it´s NEVER playback show and that´s it ... Axl always brings us his OWN performance, unique and unrepeatable which is never gonna be the same again, so why any comparisons or screwy disses? Whether we go or not is something we definitely have to decide for ourselves, but that anyone judging anything off of a Periscope is really unfair ... Rather be thankful for this prayed REUNION, as for these FREE concerts miles far away (what we would have done for such an opportunity a couple of years ago) ... That´s also why I am eagerly awaiting the 4th July  ... My FIRST Gn´R concert ever ... Time to make a countdown timer ;) ...

... and, as for this "vexing" sentence ("I thought we were friends"), following the "Saitama Thread" there are several explanations (Axl said that to Slash (?) before KoHD)

1.) "He was sharing a joke with Tom Mayhue when he brought out his change of jacket."

2.) "Probably talking to that demon infested piano." :D

3.) "Thats what his voice is saying to him."

4.) "Think it was the end of SCOM where Axl joked to Slash "I thought you were my friend" after Slash killed it on an extended outro." :headbang:

... so make your own SLAXL choice ;) ... Hawk!

I have been wondering about it too, tried to see if it's still there through the t shirts but it's pretty impossible. :P

I so hope we don't get the usual stick the flag of the country they're playing on the logo and that's it. Most band seem to think we Europeans love that

Yeah they think we love it but it's not the case! ? I really hope we get something different this time I don't want the stupid Italian stereotypes like pasta or pizza either ? I want something really cool :headbang:

Yes I agree with every single word you typed!!:) don't worry too much about what they say on the show thread here on this forum (not on the women's thread luckily) people like to complain about everything regarding this band and I used to get really pissed about it too but now I understood that what they say are a lot of bullshits for me and don't really care what they think!! I thank god everyday for this reunion and couldn't be more happy about everything that happened this year so don't worry and enjoy every moment of it!! Make the countdown for your show!!  :PI hope both of us end everyone on this thread will have a blast the day of our shows! :headbang:

Strangely enough i had a dream the other night that Axl Rose died days before hes birthday this year. It was an aweful dream!!! ?

Ha! Some months ago I dreamed of him too, being sick in bed at his home and I was somehow helping him

That's weird.

I've also heard that when you dream of someone ill they are actually very healthy. Probably bullshit but ok.

This Japan tour has been really great to follow. I have loved all of the merchandise for this tour, very nice. I hope the rest of the tour gets the same. They didn't do much for the SA leg in comparison, which is a real shame. Maybe they'll go back there and put that right.

Yeah

They've got Arian Buhler to make the posters again and he's fucking great.
I am so disappointed at the lack of quality merch for the SA leg, as if we were a secondary market or don't know what the fuck happened.... That saddened me a lot.

And as much as I would love to have all the posters and shirts from the NA leg and Japan leg, I sink myself into bitterness knowing none of them are the shows I went to

Grumpy face or not, how rare is it for Axl to turn up and have his photo taken with the support band?!

He's toured with much much better bands than them and completely ignored them.

How old are those girls? They look 14

Sucks the only whole band pics we get are ruined by these girls in the front and middle. But I can't blame them much.

What a stupid disfunctional band GN'R is, outside stage.

Yes they are THAT young. Well not 14.

I just watched Babymetal react to Youtubers react to Babymetal from Fine Bros on youtube and when one of their earliest music video is played they were talking like they were 12 when they shot that mv. So I googled their age. The oldest one is 19 and the other two are 17. But as far as I know usually japanese girlband member tends to be that young, which is quite cringey because lots of their fans are adult 20 something male.

hmm. Yeah, its all very creepy with girls in Japan.

I'm not very fond of their culture because of how they treat women. And men are mostly disgusting.

I'm surprised they are almost 20 years old but simulate to be 13 or 14, which is really sick. The whole underage japanese girls porn comes to mind. They are turned on by women looking like little girls and that's why they want them wearing school uniforms, sucking lollipops and completely shaved down there.

I guess the fact of forcing grown up women to look like a pubescent is only due to legal matters, but if they could use real teenagers, they would. :vomit:

@Frey Grissom Air Museum is located in Peru, Indiana which is about an hour away from Lafayette so it is totally possible that what Axl told Zutaut was the truth. Being an hour away at a military museum would have given his Step-Father ample opportunity to hurt him with enough of an alibi to make Axl look like a liar.

Yeah you're right, that's reasonably close.

In that case it definitely seems possible then, unfortunately.

(And his stepfather wouldn't even really have had to hide where he was taking him, after all it's pretty common for fathers to take their kids on trips to museums and stuff.)

@Frey I have noticed how "comfortable" Melissa is with with Axl too. She fancies him

Thanks for a great reply.

I too thought about the whole Yoda situation, it's unfortunate that anything more we learn about Axl's childhood, be it through Tom Zutaut or Axl himself, we will always have a sense of doubt about it because of his involvement with them.

The thing that strikes me is, as you have mentioned previously, Axl outwright said to RS he heard his stepfather going into his sisters room and felt useless and powerless to do anything about that. His stepfather beat him, brainwashed him and did some really terrifying things ( 90mph down a freeway with eyes shut!! ?). Those are things he says as facts that happened in that interview and I believe those. Is it such a stretch to think the man was capable of taking him to the air museum? It makes me feel a bit ill thinking about it, because the answer for me is it's not much of a stretch at all.

I have written and then deleted this post about ten times now. :(

Can't wait for people to start pairing Axl and Melissa up.

Axlissa. Melaxl.

---------------

No, you're right, considering all the other awful shit his stepfather has pulled, it really isn't much of a stretch at all.

What's "taking your kid to a museum" compared to speaking in tongues in public or speeding down the highway with closed eyes with your entire family in the car? That's not gonna seem particularly noteworthy to anyone who knows the guy and who doesn't suspect what a filthy piece of shit he secretly is (in addition to being a loon).

And according to @Rocketqueen76 there is a museum like that closeby, so... :(

I only brought the whole Yoda/Suzy/regression therapy thing up because it's a possibility I guess, but I really don't know enough about hypnosis and so on to judge whether coming up with a whole scenario like that under hypnosis and/or through suggestions made by the "therapists" is even likely, possible or realistic. Wouldn't he have had to dream up multiple instances of himself being raped as a child by his stepdad, multiple instances of himself trying to tell his mother about it and subsequently getting punished for it and so on under hypnosis for the story he told Zutaut to make sense? That seems kind of far-fetched to me so I don't really believe it, but like I said, I don't really understand how this kind of thing works. But if Suzy London or Yoda (or whoever it was) somehow did manage to make him see all that while he was under their spell, they desrve to rot in hell. Putting someone through that and making them think this kind of thing happend to them just for financial gain is one of the most despicable things I can think of.

There's no way Melissa and Axl are pairing. Slash wouldn't allow it, we know that. But the word 'Mel' in portuguese means literally 'Honey', so I like that as some kind of nickname for the Gingersnap - nothing to do with Melissa though :max:
