Where do the 1,617,989 who voted for independence in 2014 fit into your seemingly arbitrary classifications for minorities that count as significant?

It is significant - I've never denied that. Let's face it, both these referenda were, to quote the Duke of Wellington, ''close run things''. If the Scottish voted for independence, you would still be left with 45% plus who hate the result, and would be suitably irate about proceedings, and if the United Kingdom voted for remain, you would be left with a similar figure campaigning for a further referendum - UKIP would probably proliferate. There was however a bigger difference in the result of the Scottish referendum, a difference of around 10% I believe.

I vote for the Scots Greens.

Sorry but the Scottish Green Party campaigned for remain. Presumably they do not care much about socialism either!

Goddess Britannia, Ruler of London, Provider of £s, I beseech thee, how do I keep your mighty Kingdom from breaking up?..

Can I offer Dazey as a sacrifice, might even be a virgin so you might have lucked out there, or if you don't want a blood offering, then what?

Marshall Amps? My German built car? My American built guitar, what?

Snakes, you know all the anger and indignation you've been expressing on the forum since London voted heavily to remain and thanks to the votes of the rest of England and Wales will be leaving anyway? Imagine feeling like that after every single poll since you became a voter. That's what it's like to be Scottish... To continually vote for one thing and have virtually the polar opposite foisted on you by Tory England and Wales. In my personal experience, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016 (twice), not to mention the entirety of the 80s and 3/4 of the 90s as well, even during the New Labour years, the party transformed into the spineless Tory-lite brigade they've become today.

I'm sick to death of the UK and its right-wing politics. I don't want to be a part of the post-EU British state, I don't want to be governed by Michael Gove or Theresa May, I don't want nuclear weapons in Scotland's waters anymore. I don't want Scotland to have a future in the UK.

I must be part Scottish then because my track record in voting for a winner is such that I feel; had I have voted Leave, we'd still be in the EU; no questions asked..

I mean, right now, we're still in the EU; if you're in the UK or GBZ/ you're in the EU... For now at least.

The UK now has to broker a deal with a block, and retain and perhaps review some of it's other deals with individual countries within that block;

The Republic of Ireland are saying the Good Friday Agreement was signed with the faith both parties (UK & Ireland) were EU countries.

President Hollande of France has visited the UK Immigration and Border Control in Calais, France, and has stated that this won't change under his presidency; and that this is an agreement between our two countries and not of the EU..

Do you not think the fact that he has a daughter suggests that there's an outside chance that he might've got his end away at some point in his life?

I wish the Scots well. But honestly, it would be a tragedy for Scotland to become independent, if for nothing else, only to see James Bond kicked out of MI6 and lose his 007 status for being a foreigner.

Whatever, James Bond's HQ is still in Vauxhall..

It's also where I get the coach to Amsterdam from with Bad Bitches; to/from here... (other side of this building).

It doesn't matter whether Roger Moore ,or Boris Johnson, or Harry Potter plays the best Bond. James Bond is a Scot.

Originally he wasn't intended to be, but Fleming worked Scottish ancestry into Bond in the novel You Only Live Twice upon being impressed with Connery's portrayal in the film Dr No.

That almost condemns him to being scottish I'm afraid. Would Bond remain?

I cannot imagine Bond choosing to spy for a country with its bum cheeks open. There literally would not be a role for somebody like Bond in a SNP dominated Scottish state, seeing as the Scottish want to remove all defenses, deterrents and negotiation positions, trusting in the goodwill (or disinterest) of sinister countries elsewhere.

Strange because Wales are reclaiming their identity but voted out of EU. Whereas Scotland want in but really that's a vote for Eutostan. They have strong Identity and probably aren't as bothered about immigration. A terrorist sees a kilt and thinks job done.

Anyone who backs Trident would get my vote considering we need this capacity for an increasingly volatile world involving Putin and the N. Koreans - not to mention ISIS. Successive lefty governments, including those under limp-wristed faux Tories like Cameron, have lacked the stomach to do what is necessary here and it leaves Britain woefully short. Also, it annoys the SNP which is always a good thing haha.
