Which is the superior Illusion rocker?

Your only invalidation is living your own life
Vicarious existence is a fucking waste of time
Smoke 'em if you got 'em
Alright! That sucked!

vs

(Then when she said she was gonna like wreck my car...
I didn't know what to do)

I met an old cowboy
I saw the look in his eyes
Somethin' tells me he's been here before
'Cause experience makes you wise
I was only a small child
When the thought first came to me
That I'm a son of a gun and the gun of a son
That brought back the devil in me

Both of these songs are the creme de la creme of rockers on Illusion. They have the edge of AFD. Needless to say the lyrics Axl wrote for both songs are badass and Slash's riffs are immense.

It's tough to choose a favorite between these two, but I have to give the edge to "Don't Damn Me"

Dead Horse is more AFD and I personally think this is Axl's highest RASP ever recorded on a studio recording.. It's straight in your face rocker while Dont damn me is a bit experimental and too long... don;t like the singing that much...

Don't Damn Me; just a killer track all over. Dead Horse is cool, particularly the bridge and Axl line "dust is startin' to cleeeeaaaaaaarr", but in my opinion is not in the same class as DDM.

Don't Damn Me has a great guitar interplay, very cool lyrics, a belting solo and a stomping breakdown/ending.
