BadApples87 Posted July 11, 2016 Share Posted July 11, 2016 Nightrain Members - It has been mentioned in correspondence with Live Nation and the Nightrain membership, that if you are "spotted" wearing your lanyard to a show, you never know what extras you might get..... halfday Posted July 14, 2016 Share Posted July 14, 2016 Me and my wife were at the first Chicago show. We had tickets in section 104 which was the last section sold or you would be behind the stage. I had my fan club thingy around my neck and my Vegas shirt on from April.(went to both shows) I saw Fernando in between bands and asked what it would take for me and my wife get down on the floor. He gave me two wristbands to go to the pit. Don't know if the gear had anything to do with it but it was a great time. Ended up with basically me, my wife and about thirty model looking women jamming out on the fringe of the pit! Do you (I mean peole here in general) think they were hired and paid to be at shows are they actually bought tickets themselves to go to GN'R shows? IE- arena staff not charging me for beers and 1 usher telling me to get out of aisle while security rushed over and saw lanyard "he's with he bands crew". Went to the Philly show last night with my buddy - we were in the pit in front of Slash's side. I checked these boards before the show and saw this thread, so I figured what the hell, I'll wear my lanyard and see what happens. As the show was letting out, instead of filing out from the floor up into the mezzanine, I looked over and saw what I thought was a faster exit to the right of the stage. Turns out it was the backstage area. I walked right through in a crowd among a bunch of model looking girls. My buddy couldn't get through, so they obviously saw my lanyard and thought I was somebody important. I ended up in hospitality (i.e., the green room) just by following all the hot chicks. Frank and Richard came in around 1am, then at 1:30 I had to leave bc I had to work today (lame, I know). I walk out the door and Duff was standing right next to me in the hall talking to somebody. I also saw Beta bringing people in and out for pictures with Frank and Richard too. Crazy, crazy night. But for real, there will be pics, I put myself together an outfit too. NWA hat, Manson shirt, flannel shirt, aviators (which I wear anyways) it'll be a good time.
