I'd rather buy a 30 and drink outside a stadium than buy inside the stadium. I've got kids to feed son!

I have to be wasted to buy $30 dollar beers. It's win win.

The asnwer to that is sneaking in a camelbak pouch full of your alcohol drink of choice then once in the stadium get a Sprite or coke as needed to mix. I did it at the KC show. Got properly buzzed for just the price of a bottle.

Well what a stretch that is for you! Irony is today's nostalgia!

Nostalgia for a time we never experienced costs more now, it might cost a lot more than you THINK.

Banning booze at a venue won't do a thing.  Most people get hammered at the 'pre-game' partying/tailgating VS buying multiple $10 beers.  You said it - "It's all about stupid people who can't behave in public!".  I agree- the overly hammered,

aggressive pricks are the ones that need to learn to handle their alcohol...it's one of the reasons I hate oing to NFL games...the amount of jackasses swearing/screaming/drooling/sweating all over everyone and stumbling and spilling beers is so annoying.  Get hammered and have fun, but leave the normal people alone.

at Adam Lambert back in '09 i didn't bring cash and they didn't take credit cards. i'd had a few cocktails before but they wore off very soon into the concert ( long drive to the venue, warm night etc. ) at Peter Frampton it was in a casino, i went to the bar right by the room he was playing in and was going to have a few drinks but the one vodka tonic i had was 20.00. at GN'R in Vegas i had three cocktails in the hotel, i had a nice buzz but by the time the concert began i was pretty much sober. did not have one bad encounter although i got hit on at Adam Lambert and some guy at GN'R engaged in some flirting before the concert began which i'd never do without the benefit of alcohol :P
