GNR's longest show by the old lineup was 3 hours, 39 minutes, 11 seconds in August 1991

NewGNR broke the record in December 2009 with a show in Tokyo that was 3 hours, 39 minutes, 47 seconds

Should the current lineup take the record back?

Hell yes. That 2009 show was rusty and raw and it was awesome. Bumble started playing Whole Lotta Rosie, then Frank joins in, then Axl starts singing the intro... whole thing improvised on the spot. At the end he laughs about being able to remember the lyrics still  I want to see more of that.

and the rest is history :) Bumble tried to do Number Of The Beast at first but Axl said no.

plus the entire Who catalog and all the Beatles songs.

And do an AC/DC setlist whilst he's at it. If he can party all night into the next afternoon, this should be a piece of cake for him (hes not allowed to eat the cake though ;)

I can hear it now. "Yeah, they played over 4 hours, but they should have played Yesterday's instead of I.R.S! And where was Steven?"

It would also be where's Izzy, why do they keep playing the Seeker, why do they continue to play KOHD, why do they continue to play Live And Let Die, the gun fire before the show Is really getting annoying, the set list Is boring, why would Axl sing Happy Birthday to this member but not that one, why Is there an alt set list If they are not going to play anything off of It, why does Axl wear hats and bandannas and sunglasses and jackets? Axl's voice sucks, he sounds like Mickey, If Axl would just get Into shape and dedicate himself, Frank sucks.

Instead of a 4 hour show I think the band should start giving people something to complain about and scale there set back to 90 minutes like most other major headlining acts and see how people like that.

Axl was so pissed off going into these shows. He wanted to tour after CD released, he had to wait a year to form his own tour after firing his manager who has ties to every domestic promoter. So Axl puts together a tour in Asia and there was no way in hell he was going to put on anything less than an incredible performance.

He'd been itching to perform the new material and get back on stage so of course this wasn't going to be your 2 hour show.

If he put on a show that long in 2016 it would be big news.
