Tyson
Any new tour gross numbers in? I've done some searching but haven't been able to find any info on the topic. Would love to see how each show has done, as well as total tour gross.
ZoSoRose
For as many stadiums as they're doing, I'd say it's safe to call the tour a pretty big success. Even though a little less than half of the stadiums had closed upper decks, they did a ton of smaller markets and multiple nights in a few cities. Plus, more stadiums are packed than not. ACDC did less than half the amount of stadium shows on their last run, and even modern bands like Coldplay are doing less with arenas in smaller markets. Sure, the promoters overshot things a bit, but every city at least had enough to warrant a stadium and not arena. Hell, I was at the second Chicago show which was one of the worst attended show and it was still packed enough. Going forward, I think they will stay a stadium band in big markets and do arenas in smaller to medium markets.
