Black Ice and Rock or Bust were both recorded in 6 weeks I know. They recorded High Voltage in even a shorter term. One or two weeks. Edit: "It was actually recorded in ten days in between gigs, working through the night after we came off stage and then through the day." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Voltage_(1975_album) Edited February 13, 2017 by Sosso

James Bond
Just saw that. It points in the direction of a quick turn around for a new album in my opinion. Rather than put out a product that shows a line-up that no longer exists, he'll likely want to get going with the new line-up. It's a shame as I was looking forward to seeing it. I also don't think this necessarily means they'll put out an Axl show instead but I guess we'll see if/when more gets announced.
bucketfoot
Ever since I heard Axl had got the gig to replace Brian on the tour I wanted it to lead to a studio album, if it does happen I may levitate.

I commented on another thread earlier saying I've waited long enough for new GN'R, a little longer won't hurt. AXL/DC will do nicely for now.

Gunner68
So, is there any news or anything regarding what's next? I remember seeing the rumor about an Axl/DC album, but it seemed pretty unreliable. Any more info on what they're releasing since they canned the Wrigley DVD?
