And how would those fans behind feel about you, looking at the back of your smug head? Similar. That is exactly what I will have to go through in about 2 months or so to see them just one fucking time and that's it. Months of suffering for 2 hours of music and probably never again or sometime in a far far future. I also believe I will die in the middle of the stadium or not ever make it back home. As I was driving with my gf to the concert she texted us and said that she got backstage tickets to the GNR show from her modeling agency. She then said she was too lazy to go the the show (she sucks). She said the tix weren't transferrable so she literally threw them out. Fastfoward to me arriving at the concert where I go to scan my pit tickets (hard copy tix) only to find out they were fake and I got robbed. I've heard that Stubhub does what it can in those cases, if you have bought from there. They take their photos as if they're fans and use it for social media. I saw it with my own eyes and I've been ignoring saying something about it on here because I didn't wanna piss on anyones parade or be negative for the sake of being negative. They were through ticketmaster and they were hard copies (which are significantly more difficult the counterfeit). I pad $300 for a pair the night before the show, so it was a good deal but it wasn't anything crazy that made me doubt it. I met the guy who looked a bit sketchy and I asked to see his phone to make sure it wasn't a burner phone. He had an iPhone 6 so I thought it was fine. Anyway the tix were fake so I went to the window and no one at will call could determine if they were legit or not because they were well enough printed that the bar code actually worked but had an invalid code. They scanned them a sent them to corporate who then determined they were fake. They gave me the impression they could slide me some under the table as mine were so well printed but of course at the last second they didn't. SO they then called me to the side to file a police report, while I was doing so another guy came up to file a police report as well. Keep in mind there were 50,000 people outside waiting to get in. The other guy looks at me and describes the guy who he bought them from which was exactly the same guy I bought mine from. This guy paid $600 for a pair. So judging by the fact that two people bumped into each other at the same police officer at the same time and got taken by the same guy, Im sure he got quite a few people there outside of us. I then went back to the window and bought more tix. I'm finishing up Pharmacy School and living on student loans so it was definitely not in my "budget" to do so but I wasn't going to let some asshole steal my one chance to see GNR. I can't remember seeing anyone who went complaining about it in their reviews. But now it is suddenly a huge problem? I do remember the comment about them snorting coke in the bathroom before, but that was the only one. What did these girls do to deserve free GNR tickets? All sorts of high rollers and fat cats get special treatment it's just that nobody notices them, and if those tickets didn't go to models they would have gone to some other VIP type. "Paid audience" is not necessary here. This is not a TV show and they don't need a fake audience when they have a bunch of real fans who can actually enjoy the band and their music. I don't feel robbed by the band because my spot was not taken. I haven't attended any of these shows, I'm waiting for them to arrive to my country. I already have a ticket and I didn't struggle to get it. I really doubt they will put models in my show though. We will be a wild crowd with not seats in the floor area and no room for that kind of people. However, this doesn't prevent me from empathizing with those who have their view blocked by these girls or any other disturbance they felt. Everybody is entitled to go to a show and complain about it if some things don't look good for them. If you don't like it then don't read this thread and stay out of the debate. I shit you not...) were friends of, like, Duff's kids. LOL. The one's I saw looked about 16 and I figured that's how a 16 year old would get a backstage pass to a GnR show.... by being friends with the kids of the band members. Someone can simply switch or upgrade their seats throuch Ticketmaster then ell the "old" tix that are null and void. I did it 2x for GNR shows recently, but I didnt sell the bad ones of course.
