We are living in the future we used to think was just an impossible science fiction dream. We watch concerts broadcast LIVE from around the globe, as it happens, beamed to us from a device that fits in your pocket. We see and hear the concert instantly. I still can't get over that. I used to have to buy shitty sounding bootlegs on CD for $30 a pop, with the songs mislabeled on the case, songs cut off, terrible quality....and that was months or years after the fact! I almost missed a Pearl Jam concert in 1996 cause of a major traffic jam on the only highway to the venue. That was a learning experience. Ever since then I make it a point to be early to shows, even if it means waiting around for a long time. This person knew there would be 70,000+ other fans going to the same place.
