RARE Footage of GNR In Studio Making UYI Albums

Recommended Posts

I doubt it but it doesn't hurt to ask the people who were there at the sessions, including Del James and Amy Bailey.Robert John might have taken some video if he was photographing the sessions but it probably would have been on his book promo/documentary.

I think with all the setbacks around UYI and trying to get the album finished, it would have been a distraction, plus there was worry about stuff getting into bootlegger's hands so bringing outside video equipment would have made them a little uptight.

what is the reasoning behind NOT releasing it? right now would be a perfect time. i mean they seem to want/need money :shrugs:

Well the reason was because Axl/TB were to bitter or whatever over real Guns and wanted to promote Nu Guns.  Now- no excuse not to.  I'm guessing Duff is working on Axl in regards to releasing the footage along with new footage.  Releasing the UYI vault footage would be the holy grail...stuff like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWH-tbzcEb4

My longing for the UYI footage was temporarily put on hold due to the reunion stuff. But seeing the linked video just brings it back into full force.
